A small sloping garden in Bearwood, Birmingham. The brief was to compartmentalise the space for entertaining, structural planting and growing vegetables.

We used reclaimed railway sleepers to terrace the space and construct planters. Natural stone paving and gravel was used for seating areas and trellis divided a small lawn from a vegetable patch and green house at the rear of the garden.
